Grant Me Serenity & Shit is a way to tell my story and help others. My story is not like the ones we think of those who struggle with alcoholism and substance abuse – I had a good job, friends, a place to live, and my life seemed put together. Behind the scenes, things were slowly falling apart. I didn’t lose everything, but I could have.
I want others to know that you don’t have to lose it all to get help and that every story is different. It’s important to talk about the struggles we face and how we get to the other side. Through being authentic and speaking my truth, I hope to guide others on their journey.
